As fishermen, we asked ourselves: why can’t a fly box be something a fisherman is proud of? After all, the flies we use are arguably more important than the rods and reels we spend so much time bragging about.
TEL 393 or Manufacturing Systems is the course that brought us together. The main objective of the course is simple; produce 99 products with 7 or more components.
Our campus at SUNY Oswego is located less than 30 minutes from prime fishing territory on the Salmon River many of us are united by a passion for both fishing and wood working giving us the inspiration for hardwood fly boxes.
